They can be left simply iced for a clean, unfussy look, or finished with fresh or pressed edible flowers.

For food-safety reasons, it is preferable florist flowers do not touch the cake, unless organically grown and food safe varieties, I can provide structural stands that allow flowers to be styled around the cake without contact.

Considered Cakes are not about excess or heavy decoration. They are carefully made, quietly beautiful cakes — a step above the everyday, created with care and intention rather than embellishment.

To maintain this way of working, I take on no more than one Considered Cake every fortnight.
